The Trak Software team (Cameron Oliver, Charles “Chip” Reynolds, and Gabe Izsak) was ecstatic to be personally invited to participate in the 5th annual NFL Club-Led Activation Summit taking place in New Orleans and the first since the pandemic began in 2020.
There was a record-sized group of over 150 sponsorship marketers from 29 of the 32 NFL teams in attendance (10 and counting are Trak customers), who were excited to be back together for the first time since Denver in February of 2020. The Saints staff facilitated an amazing event filled with the unique tastes and experiences of New Orleans.
The next morning, after owner Gale Benson officially welcomed the group, Trak led a “Ted Talk” on What CMO’s Want and How to Best Relate and Deliver. Subsequently, Trak invited up an all star panel of Trak users and veteran NFL leaders in sponsorship marketing with 12-20 years of experience consisting of Sandy Young (Denver Broncos), Shaun Angell (Seattle Seahawks), Kellen Begnoche (Kansas City Chiefs) and Bridget Kakos (Cleveland Browns). The panel brought in their unique insights and approach to the topic as well as takes for the crowd. Check-out the full recording here.
Trak also sponsored a keynote speech from Allison Katz-Mayfield, VP of Business Strategy & Analytics for LA2028. Allison touched on her time working for the NFL, challenges and opportunities in planning Olympic-related events and provided much career-related feedback for the audience.
Trak sponsored the official happy hour on opening night - taking place uptown on St. Charles Avenue at Columns (don’t miss checking out the welcome speech below). What an awesome way to welcome everyone and put names to faces in person again!
